信步春林——A Stroll in Springtime

2019.02.22 信步春林 A Stroll in Springtime 1

This poem was inspired during my old-fashion travel to see a friend across town last weekend. With the wet monsoon returning, it could be my last expedition before summer ends.

As for the poem, this time, I made an extra effort to honour the traditional form and metre (dictated by the tonal patterns of each line) as established around one and a half millennia ago. It reads well in both Cantonese (Middle Chinese) and Mandarin, which may be quite rare. I should consider this one a rather presentable gem in my inventory.

AnniversaryWe in the factory’s back office have just survived our busiest month of the year, and, again, I let the blog’s anniversary slip under the radar. Hopefully, I should be able to blog and read more from next week onwards. Catch y’all soon.
